When you think about Barcelona, no doubt Antoni Gaudí comes to mind. And, although his artwork permeates the city, La Sagrada Familia is surely his masterpiece because it’s unlike any other church in the world.
The unique blend of Gothic and Art Nouveau styles, along with the surreal organic shapes of his designs, make it a must-see. Believe it or not, the church is still under construction after more than a century but, even in its unfinished state, you still can’t get over the facades and stained-glass windows.
